چکیده
Abstract Background Accurate preoperative planning is an important step for accurate reconstruction in total hip arthroplasty (THA). Presently, completed using either a two-dimensional (2D) template or three-dimensional (3D) mimics software. With the development of artificial intelligence (AI) technology, AI HIP, software based on can quickly and automatically identify acetabular femur morphology, match optimal prosthesis size. However, accuracy feasibility its clinical application still needs to be further verified. The purposes this study were investigate time efficiency HIP primary THA, compared with 3D 2D digital template, analyze factors that influence HIP. Methods A prospective was conducted 53 consecutive patients (59 hips) undergoing THA cementless prostheses our department. All as well template. predicted component size actual implantation results determine accuracy. templating efficiency. Furthermore, potential influencing analyzed including sex, body mass index (BMI), dysplasia. Results predicting cup femoral stem 74.58% 71.19%, respectively, HIP; 71.19% ( P = 0.743) 76.27% 0.468), mimics; 40.68% < 0.001) 49.15% 0.021), templating. 3.91 ± 0.64 min, which equivalent templates (2.96 0.48 0.001), but shorter than (32.07 2.41 0.001). Preoperative planning for primary total hip arthroplasty.
Preoperative planning is of paramount importance in obtaining reproducible results in modern hip arthroplasty. Planning helps the surgeon visualize the operation after careful review of the clinical and radiographic findings. A standardized radiograph with a known magnification should be used for templating. The cup template should be placed relative to the ilioischial line, the teardrop, and t...
متن کاملThe value of preoperative planning for total hip arthroplasty.
To analyse the value and accuracy of preoperative planning for total hip replacement (THR) we digitised electronically and compared the hand-sketched preoperative plans with the pre- and postoperative radiographs of 100 consecutive primary THRs. The correct type of prosthesis was planned in 98%; the agreement between planned and actually used components was 92% on the femoral side and 90% on th...

OBJECTIVE the objective of this study was to present an analog method for preoperative planning of primary total hip arthroplasty procedures based on measuring the components by overlaying the transparencies of the prosthesis on the preoperative radiographs and checking the accuracy, both for predicting the size of the acetabular and femoral components used and for restoring the offset and corr...

We evaluated the utility of a preoperative planning technique with a review of preoperative radiographs, templates, plans, charts and 6-week postoperative radiographs of 139 total hip arthroplasties (THAs) (116 cemented and 23 hybrid) to determine size, orientation of the implants, and cement column mantle, location of the planned and achieved center of rotation, and limb-length discrepancy. متن کاملComparisons of preoperative three-dimensional planning and surgical reconstruction in primary cementless total hip arthroplasty.
Reconstruction of important parameters such as femoral offset and torsion is inaccurate, when templating is based on plain x-rays. We evaluate intraoperative reproducibility of pre-operative CT-based 3D-templating in a consecutive series of 50 patients undergoing primary cementless THA through an anterior approach. Pre-operative planning was compared to a postoperative CT scan by image fusion. ...
